Fue Hair Transplantation

Fue Hair Transplantation: The hair follicles located on the scalp, in the nape area behind both ears, do not fall out as they are resistant to hormonal and disease-related loss. This area, where the hair is genetically protected, is the safest donor area for hair transplantation.

The first stage of the operation is to numb the area where the hair will be removed by applying local anesthesia. Since the procedure is performed with regional anesthesia, the patient remains awake during the operation and can watch TV, eat, read newspapers or books, but does not feel pain.

In the second stage, hair follicles are extracted as ready-made follicular units with special devices developed for this process. In other words, hair follicles are removed “one by one”. The carefully removed hair follicles are placed in petri dishes prepared under sterile conditions. During the period between harvesting and transplanting the hair follicles, the extracted hair follicles are stored in these boxes containing various solutions and medications that stimulate hair growth. In our clinic, PRP (platelet-rich plasma) and various special hair follicle-stimulating drugs are used for this procedure.

In the third stage, channels are opened in the area to be transplanted. The direction and frequency of the channels are the most important factors affecting the success of hair transplantation. The small size of the canal ensures that the extracted hair follicles fit snugly into the skin. The direction of the channels should be parallel to the natural hair directions. With FUE hair transplantation, unsightly results occur in hair that is not transplanted at the appropriate density and distribution. In our clinic, this procedure is performed meticulously. The channels are given the appropriate angle by looking at your previous photographs and the structure of your skin. Another important issue at this stage is determining the front hairline. A well-planned frontal hairline determines the success of hair surgery. Because a poorly planned front line can negatively affect a person’s appearance and also negatively affect his psychology in his future life. It also leads to a second repair hair surgery. The front hairline should be symmetrical and harmonious. It should be proportional to the person’s face shape and anatomical structure. In addition to these features, it should be determined in accordance with the hair loss pattern. In our clinic, this procedure is performed with the help of scientific literature and aesthetic measurements.

Post operation

In our clinic, nothing is covered in the transplanted area after the operation. The bandage on the area where the hair was taken is removed under your control on the first day after transplantation. After the bandage is removed, no traces of the operation are visible from the outside. Medicines that will ensure rapid healing of the area where the hair is removed and prevent the development of infection are prescribed and their use is explained.
The patient can go home immediately after the operation. Washing is not done for the first 3 days after the procedure. The first washing procedure is performed in our clinic 3 days after the procedure.
The transplanted hair starts to fall out 3-4 weeks after the operation. The transplanted hair follicles begin to grow and grow again over time. This process requires 3-6 months.
